"All they came up with" has a great start and switch of tempo around 1 minute into the song creating a climax enhanced by the vocal echoes. Good bass presence. The lyrics of Alex Chaves have a visceral imagery of innocence with a shocking derivative. Seems to have an off beat cadence near the end of the song. Possibly a benefit to the songs conclusion. "Alarm Clock" Seems a little more put together than the song "All they came up with". The minimalistic use of sounds attribute the songs consistent strength. The relaxed tempo pushes you through the story with just enough info for you to visualize a world apart. Both of these songs are better understood when listened to twice.

Daniel Crabbs, guitarist of Shoot 2 Please, met with me to discuss the creation of a cover for the band.

That night I was able to attend a practice session. Sketch-book in hand, I sat there and mindlessly doodled

according to the music they played. Four songs later the band and I sat down and reviewed some of the ideas.

Of the sketches, the cubic opposites were of most aesthetic value. The collection of artists parted that night after the

cover was decided upon.

The finished product required five stencils and colors to match for each demo cover. Of the limited fifty covers that were made,

no two are the same. Hand-made local art covering hand played local art. Actual covers

are 3D glasses reactive.

Below is a sample of the 4 covers.

BROKEN PERCEPTION MOTIVATION

Dedicated to the advancement of the human race. Our influence is infectious like a shockwave in

water. Distribute the knowledge you know and be willing to accept more in return. It is in teaching

others, that we may again becomea student. It was not until I stoped asking my self "what do people

want to see"and started asking "what do I want to see"did I realize themeaning of art. It is a self

expression of our own perception and existance.

PERCEPTION: (per-cep-tion) immediate or intuitive recognition or appreciation, as of moral, psychological, or aesthetic qualities; insight; intuition;

Consider this, the world that we perceive around us is dictated by our past experiences. If no two

people have the exact same experiences, then no two people have the same perception. No two people

will ever be able to see content the same. From this, our perceptions are broken.
